![]() Undead Labs have the foundations to build the perfect Zombie Survival experience and with Game Over Man already being on the short list to test their next title, we couldn't be anymore honoured and excited to be apart of it. I can only assume that "approval" they were waiting for was answered through the signing of the new contract with Microsoft Studios. Taking the same old experience and just replicating it isn’t what we’re about, as you can tell from playing State of Decay." It seems Undead Labs have a hell of a'lot in the pipe line for Zombie Apocalypse based games, not to mention last year at Euro Gamer announcing they were already working on a new project titled "Class4" but at that time were apparently waiting on Approval from Microsft. What people thought an MMO was in the early 2000s is not what everyone’s looking for. “We likely won’t refer to it too often as an MMO, and there won’t be quests to kill ten zombies or anything like that. To sum the interview up Jeff Strain is quoted to say “Our game won’t be your traditional MMO,” said Strain. In a recent article over at they talk to Jeff Strain, founder of Undead Labs, about their recent multi-year and multi-title agreement with Miscrosft Studios and how the term MMO is very different from the early 2000's and how Next-Gen consoles will now be able to cope with open world game design thanks to the systems containing more RAM. Explore an open world full of dangers and opportunities that respond to your every decision. In my opinion State Of Decay: Breakdown is a master piece and a perfect guide line for Undead Labs to take the crown of creating, possibly, the most perfect Zombie Apocalypse simulator. Make your stand against the collapse of society in the ultimate zombie survival-fantasy game. ![]() The point im slowly getting to is that Undead Labs took note of all the user reviews of the stand alone title and answered everyones questions and wishes with the Breakdown DLC. Of course, i did just that and got my self an early access code through Steam and have already been asked if i would like to test out their next DLC that they are, allegedly, currently working on.of course i said yes. Undead Labs also put it up for offer, through social networks, for fans to send in their reviews of State Of Decay to have the chance to review their first DLC 'Breakdown'. If you're unaware of Undead Lab's first standalone title 'State Of Decay' then please take a quick trip to our YouTube channel or see the video below Since it's release on June 5th 2013 State Of Decay recieved wide scale positive reviews and on November 30th 2013 Undead Labs reported that they had sold more than 1,000,000,00 copies. To paint a picture, i am a zombie enthusiast along every format and for the day, to finally come (admittedly Z Day too) where a Zombie game might actually live up to it's expectation, to me, couldn't come soon enough. Although only really active since 2009 the news that a sandbox, zombie apocalypse, survival based game was being created immediately took me hook, line and sinker. Until then, stay tuned.Ok, i start this post by firstly admitting that you're reading the words of an Undead Labs fanboy here. More information will be revealed in due time. But that too only feeds into the speculation. Not long after the release of the second game, there were rumors that the next in the series would lean further into the MMO direction, creating large scale multiplayer lobbies. We can speculate that it will introduce a new winter setting, since that's where the trailer was set. We don't know when to expect it, what gameplay will look like, or what will be different. Unfortunately, this is just about everything we know about the game. The cinematic trailer showed a woman with a crossbow surviving on her own in a snowy woodland landscape, while traveling, she discovers the corpse of a wolf being eaten by a mutilated zombie deer. Introducing State of Decay 3.Ī sequel to State of Decay 2, the popular zombie survival game from 2018, the third game was recently revealed to be in development during the Xbox Games Showcase on Thursday with a reveal trailer. ![]() They will hide away, deep in the wilderness, where no one can find, or infect, them. Many believe that when society falls, it will be due to disease.
